General Terms of Entry and Operation
- To Protect the Welfare of our Zoo Animals and the Safety of our Visitors, Dogs and Pets are Not Allowed Onsite, Including Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs. In respect of the health, welfare, disease control and the requirements of those needing assistance dogs our ethical review committee made consideration. The Ethical review committee concluded that on these points considered that dogs including assistance and guide dogs should not be permitted onto the premises as their presence would be a cause of distress and danger to both animals in the collection and as a consequence visitors to the farm. Points of particular concern were; the presence of Free Range free flying poultry and ducks in the collection. The presence of Mara and Wallaby in the collection.
- Only food purchased in our Tractor Café can be consumed on the premises (this includes all indoor and outdoor areas) for health and safety reasons.
- No Picnics or BBQ’s Allowed: We do not allow picnics or BBQ allowed on site under any circumstances.
- The following are not permitted onto the premises: balloons, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, wheeleys, balls, frisbees, smoking, vaping and alcohol.
- For Health and Safety on the farm all groups of 8 or more visitors need to pre-book their visit.
- Do not cross boundaries or climb fences: Staff members have the authority to ask anyone who attempts to cross boundaries or interfere with animals to leave the premises.
- Please respect the freedom of our animals: They are not pets and may bite or scratch. Please always treat them with the upmost kindness. Those who do not respect the privilege of being amongst the animals will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
- Do not chase or annoy the animals: It is unnecessary, to do so can damage their health and lead to serious, even fatal injury.
- Animals can only be feed our specially formulated feed that is available to purchase on site for €1 per pot. Only feed animals via shoots on purpose designed feed troughs at each pen.
- Do not drop litter: Please use the bins provided.
- No ‘Drone’ zone: The Farm is strictly a no drone zone.
- No unauthorised photography: The unauthorised use of photographic equipment to record children other than those under your own guardianship is strictly prohibited.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission or ask visitors to leave.
- Those under 18 must be supervised and always controlled by an appropriate adult.
- Not all activities on the farm are wheelchair accessible.

Bookings Terms and Conditions
- Tickets are sold subject to our right to alter or vary the program due to events or circumstances beyond our control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets. The order in which activities are enjoyed may vary from booking to booking to ensure your group gets best access to our facilities.
- There are charges passed on to us for secure payment transaction services to process credit/debit card transactions, also for the installation and maintenance of ticketing systems and all other costs associated with secure online bookings. Please note that refunds under any circumstances, only apply to ticket prices and not booking fees. Booking fees are charged at the start of a transaction for services and cannot be refunded by the operator
- We are an outdoor facility. Ireland has exciting and unpredictable weather so please come prepared to enjoy your time with us rain or shine. In the eventuality of bad weather, events will continue to operate, therefore refunds will not be given in the eventuality of bad weather. However, if the events must close due to extreme weather conditions, we will endeavour to facilitate patrons on an alternative date and failing this, will provide a refund.
- Halloween event is spooky, if you think your child will be scared please let staff know, we can tailor ride to be less spooky.
- When you make your booking online you will receive a confirmation email containing a QR code, this is your e-ticket, you will be required to present it for scanning at time of check-in.
- When you arrive at Kildare Farm Foods Open Farm and Shop, please check-in with a member of staff at the tills in the Farm Shop.
- It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ensure that they have booked the correct date, time and number of tickets.
- If you do not arrive for your booking at the correct date and time we will not be in a position to provide a refund.
- At time of booking a party or school tour you will have the option to pay in full or pay a non-refundable booking deposit of €50. In the case where only a booking fee is paid you will we required to pay the balance due on or before the day of your booking. Payment of balance due can be made by Account Transfer, Cash, Debit or Credit card.
- If your chosen booking time is cancelled or re-scheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you on the e-mail address provided at the time of booking. We will be offering an alternative date and time. Should this not suit we will issue a KFF voucher less €2.00 booking fee for every ticket.
- If you wish to cancel your booking, please reply to your booking confirmation received from familyfun@kildarefarmfoods.com detailing your request.
- If we receive this request more than 48 hours prior to the day of your booking: we will issue a voucher for the value of your booking (less a €2.00 admin fee per ticket), which you can use to book another event with us.
- If we receive this request less than 48 hours prior to the day of your booking: we will issue a voucher for the value of your booking(less a €5.00 admin fee per ticket), which you can use to book another event with us.
- If receive this request 3 hours prior to your booked slot time on the day of your booking, we will then issue a voucher for the value of your booking (less a 50% admin fee per ticket), which you can use to book another event with us.
- Please note that shop orders are NOT eligible for cancellation.
- If you wish to modify your booking, please reply to your confirmation email received from familyfun@kildarefarmfoods.com detailing your request (a €2.00 admin fee per ticket will be charged prior to modifications being processed) .
- No modifications can be made to your booking within 72 hours of your booked time slot.
- For booking queries, please reply to your booking confirmation received from familyfun@kildarefarmfoods.com detailing your query.
Party Specific Terms and Conditions
- Decorations are permitted but cannot be attached in anyway to surfaces including, walls, ceilings, fixtures or fittings.
- Upon Arrival please notify a member of staff of any food allergens in your group.
- Arrival time is 10 minutes before your booked time slot. Activates will begin promptly at your time slot.
- Late arrival will result in a shortage of time to complete all activities.
- Parties: Adult guests are welcome to stand mingle and enjoy the party but the primary focus will be on creating a fantastic experience for the children.
- Our party rooms can cater for a maximum of 30 children.
School Tour Specific Terms and Conditions
- Arrival time is 10 minutes before your booked time slot. Activates will begin promptly at your time slot.
- Upon Arrival please notify a member of staff of any food allergens in your group.
- Late arrival will result in a shortage of time to complete all activities.
- Please ask your book driver to park in the overflow carpark beside the orchard, and remain on the bus until our train arrives to collect you.
- Please leave all school bags on board your bus for the duration of the tour.
