Spuds for dinner at last

Its late July and two months have passed since we buried our seed potatoes into the ground. We have begun the harvest our first crop of potatoes. 6am every morning finds us in muddy rubber boots pulling lovely spuds out of the soil, sure enough they have grown, and each humble seed potato has produced many, nature is wonderful.

     

In the shop

The good news for our farm shop customers is that you can find these lovely spuds on sale daily in our shop, steam them and serve with a little butter, they are tasty little hot potatoes. We will keep you in the loop as each variety is harvested so you too can expand your potato repertoire past just roosters and queens.
